Steve Brodrick
Steve Brodrick is the founder and CEO of Horizon Five, LLC. Steve was previously Chief Transformation Officer at Alteryx and was responsible for advising over 400 global 2000 companies on their automation and data & analytics transformation journeys.
Steve’s leadership experience spans across Finance, Operations, IT, and Transformation. Prior to Alteryx, Steve was Chief Financial Officer for Stanley Black & Decker’s Tools & Storage business, where he oversaw global finance functions, as well as led the overall transformation and performance resiliency program for the enterprise as CTAO. This program stood up centers of excellence that upskilled 800 associates, democratized data & helped create over $500 million of tracked value as part of SBD’s Performance Resiliency program. Prior to this appointment Steve held corporate roles as Head of Corporate FP&A & Global Shared Services, including oversight of Global IT & Global Supply Management Finance Teams as well as the Integration Management Office. He also held various Business Unit CFO roles including Global Tools, Global Industrial & Automotive Repair, Security North America, CST Berger, Stanley Access Technologies, and Infrastructure and Oil & Gas.
During his two-decade long career at Stanley Black & Decker Steve guided several business transformation and turnaround objectives including Stanley Fulfillment System Working Capital Turns Program, Indirect Cost Reduction Program, Performance Resiliency Center of Excellence, S4 Central Finance implementation, Hyperion Planning Implementation, and Finance & Global Shared Services Transformation Programs. Steve also chaired SBD’s Finance Excellence Training Program for emerging finance leaders.
Steve holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Bentley University and an Executive MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Outside of work, Steve enjoys the outdoors and spending time with family in Vermont and Maine.
